It is a values commitment grounded in human dignity, democracy, and ethical leadership.

Core Commitment

I commit to serving my community with integrity, humility, and respect for human dignity.

I believe that public office is a responsibility, not a privilege, and that leadership must be guided by conscience rather than fear, power, or personal gain.


Democracy & Rule of Law

I commit to:

  • Respecting democratic processes and the peaceful transfer of power
  • Upholding the rule of law, even when it is inconvenient
  • Rejecting authoritarianism, political violence, and intimidation
  • Defending the right of people to participate freely in civic life

Human Dignity & Human Rights

I affirm that:

  • Every person has inherent worth, regardless of race, religion, gender, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, political belief, or economic status
  • Dehumanization of any group is unacceptable
  • Human rights are not conditional or negotiable

I commit to governing in ways that protect the dignity and safety of all people.


People Over Profits

I commit to:

  • Putting the well-being of people above personal, corporate, or political gain
  • Resisting corruption and undue influence
  • Acting transparently and ethically in the use of public resources

I recognize that an economy or system that sacrifices people for profit is unjust.


Truth, Responsibility & Pluralism

I commit to:

  • Acting in good faith and rejecting deliberate misinformation
  • Respecting differences in belief, faith, and political perspective
  • Governing with curiosity, accountability, and openness to dialogue

Unity does not require uniformity.


Conduct & Accountability

I commit to:

  • Rejecting hate, harassment, and threats
  • Using my platform responsibly
  • Being accountable to my community and willing to correct mistakes
